Who do we think we are?

Ministry of Justice approved and certified, Know It All Investigations Ltd Director Lynn Fisken realised her life time goal when she embarked on her career as Private Investigator.

I'm a naturally "nosy" person – I truly am interested in what’s going on around me – I love to make sense of the world we live in. My family came out from Scotland when I was a baby and for better opportunities for our family.
As a child I was an avid reader and I filled my head with books and particularly enjoyed Nancy Drew, Famous 5, Secret 7 and quite fancied myself as a sleuth. At age 8 with best friend Lisa, we successfully solved the case of the mystery golden retriever. Buddy and the McIndoe family were very grateful I am sure.

My education was cut short at Papatoetoe High School when I was hit off a motorcycle by a car when I was 15, fortunately it was on the last day of my school cert exams which I passed. I entered the work force as an office junior, saved up hard and took off like most other kiwis to the UK for the big OE.
Here I gained experience working as a Butcher in charge of an Offal counter in the East End,
a hotel receptionist, a seller of bagels on night shift, a Housekeeper Nanny on an enormous Perthshire Estate. Neither of these occupations warranted further investment of my time as far as I was concerned but I certainly learned a lot about people.

When I came home to Aotearoa I enrolled in a bachelor of arts degree at Auckland University. I studied Sociology and am continuing on with my honours degree in 2009.

My time at Auckland University certainly enlightened me and opened my mind, but it is my life experiences that enable me to relate and empathise with people of all ages and cultures.

Since graduation I have had a rewarding career within the Housing sector where I managed rental properties in South Auckland both state and privately owned.
I later moved on to work with people living with disability by facilitating modified housing to cater to their individual needs as well as case manage customers who were identified as having complex needs which affected them maintaining sustainable housing solutions.
My last role whilst working for Housing NZ Corporation Ltd was as with the Investigations Team which entailed working through cases of fraud where people had been identified as providing false or misleading information to gain housing or cheaper rent at the cost of the tax payer.

My aim is to provide peace of mind and security for anybody who has assets or savings to lose in the event of a relationship breakdown.

I believe strongly in our natural instincts, our gut feelings these are warning signs for us to take note of.

I can help you trust your instinct. No one knows more about what’s going on than you.
